Lindsey Hilsum


Lindsey Hilsum is the international editor for Britain’s Channel 4 News and appears regularly on PBS’s NewsHour, CNN, and NBC. She has covered the major conflicts of the past two decades, including the wars in Iraq, Kosovo, and Afghanistan, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the genocide in Rwanda. In 2011 she reported from Egypt and Bahrain, as well as Libya. Her journalism has won several prizes, including an Emmy, and recognition from One World Media and Amnesty International. Her writing has been featured in the Sunday Times, The Guardian, The New Statesman, and Granta, among other publications. She is the author of Sandstorm: Libya in the Time of Revolution.
