Louisa Thomas


Louisa Thomas has written for The New York Times Book Review, VogueNewsweek, the Paris Review Daily, The Washington Post, Slate, and other publications. She is a contributor to Grantland and was formerly on the editorial staff of The New Yorker and a contributing editor at Newsweek. She is the author of Conscience: Two Soldiers, Two Pacifists, One Family—a Test of Will and Faith in World War I.  She grew up in Washington, D.C., graduated from Harvard University, and lives in New York. Norman Thomas was her great-grandfather.
